Kurt and Brooke

Kurt and Brooke were students in Pemba at Harvest School 17 in 2012. Though they already had missions experience in Central America, China, and inner city Tampa, there was still something missing. It was in Mozambique that they encountered and began to pursue the more they longed to see. They couldn’t get Pemba out of their system and decided to return to staff Harvest Schools 18,19,20, and 21. Through the experience of staffing, God began to give vision for the future. Not only were they experiencing the more in Pemba, but they had a dream to experience it in St. Louis. After leading Harvest School 21 in December 2014, they returned home to St. Louis with big dreams and visions for Gods love and peace over St. Louis. In August of 2015, they bought their first house - a big two family flat in a hurting neighborhood. Their dream is to have the house full of Iris Alumni living in community here, loving their neighbors, and creating a culture of more Holy Spirit, so they can love the poor around them.
