“But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)” — Ephesians 2:4-5 (NASB)
Piauí, Brazil - Brazil
We believe that through Jesus we were made agents of transformation, both in people lives and in the community we are in.
The city of Acauã, where projects are concentrated, was once the poorest in Brazil, with severe water and issues due to the dry climate and the absolute lack of rain. This region has around 1.5% of evangelical Christians. The lack of hope, investment and resources are still part of this reality.
We work with church planting in small villages, “tribes” and quilombos (slave descendent communities); we cooperate with some projects that were already set in the communities like Projeto Tiago (Project James) that provides care for the orphans, widows and those in need, Projeto Lucas ( project Luke) medical care for the sick, Projeto Timóteo ( Project Timothy) education for children through music, dance and extra-school help with homeworks and Projeto Flor do Sertão ( Project Sertão Flower) a practical teaching on Women’s value through arts and crafts. All of our cooperation comes through a profound fulfillment in the Presence of the Holy Spirit in us and through us.
