About Rio de Janeiro
We believe that to Jesus no one is forgotten or rejected.
Rio de Janeiro is known as the Wonderful City because of its natural beauty - and it really is. Here you can find amazing places! God was generous when he made this place. He took great care in gathering mountains, forests, waterfalls, and the sea in just one city. At the same time, it’s a city with huge challenges and needs. There are favelas in many places around the city, each one with their own social challenges and needs.
We are located in two places, one is Barra da Tijuca where one of our churches is planted. It is a wealthy part of the city. We are also located in Xerém, Duque de Caxias- a small city in the country side.
What we do?
Our routine of activities is basically centered around our two local churches. We do discipleship, small home groups, prayer room, Bible school online, fellowship events, and services on the weekend.
Our major activity besides that is the River of God Mission School that we do twice a year in January and July. 24-25 days of school.
In this school you will have the opportunity to experience the strong presence of God and be prepared for missions, both in the urban context and in other places. Many students have their life changed in this school and we invite you to be a part of this life-changing experience.
