The summer has ended and as I reflect on all that has happened here in Nicaragua the last few months, I am amazed and overwhelmed with gratitude.

This summer, our houses were full of amazing volunteers! We had 3 students and one graduate from Bethel School of Ministry with us the entire summer. We hosted a YWAM team along with a team from Iris Global Harvest School and several others including many of our missionary’s family members which was a wonderful treat to be surrounded by our families!

This summer we built two more houses for families in the Nueva Vida trash dump as well as the first flushing toilet! The families living in Nueva Vida all use hand dug latrines as their restrooms. To have a flushing toilet for the first time is a wonderful upgrade.

With the help of our Bethel volunteers, our kids after school program next to the La Chureca trash dump also got a much needed facelift and fresh paint as we welcomed the kids back into the program to start the new year. This is the 5th year of our scholarship program. The kids all started back to school on August 12th. We are happy to announce that all but one child returned to the program! And we look forward to graduating our very first high school student at the end of this year!

Our team was invited to minister at several churches and also to about 300 prostitutes in Managua the last two months. It was an exciting honor to see the Holy Spirit move and to see Jesus meeting His beloved Nicaraguan bride with love and healing.

Our ministry school, Honeypot, graduated and commissioned its first year of graduates! The purpose of this school is to see Nicaraguans who feel called to full time ministry and missions be equipped through practical teachings and personal encounters with the Holy Spirit. Every expectation I had of these students was far exceeded in every way. We got to train leaders from 4 different ministries around the nation. Each one of them came to the school with hunger to see God move in their lives and each one left transformed and changed. As part of the school, we took the students on various outreaches to impoverished communities as well as a night club to pray for people and see God move in power and love through them. Each student experienced miracles, signs and wonders as they loved the least of these and ministered to the lost.

Thank you all for continuing this beautiful journey with us! Whether it be financially, through prayer or even taking the time to read our updates, it means so much! I pray you are all blessed beyond measure as you experience the deep peace and pleasure of our Daddy God who loves you so much. It’s an honor to serve the people of Nicaragua and we are beyond grateful for your support and love in all that we do

Endless hugs and blessings,
