Summer to Remember
It's been quite a busy summer here at Iris Nashville. We started off the summer with a wedding...my wedding! Allyson and I got married in Nashville at the end of May and have loved this new adventure together. Our Outreach Pastors also became newlyweds. In the midst of all of these wonderful growing family moments we have continued to have weekly services, Outreaches, Missions Trips and community building events.
As a family we have decided that we will give 1/3 of all Tithes to the poor, needy and missions. This year alone we have given more than $26,000 USD away. What an honor it is for us to pour into Local and International missions.
We have had the incredible privilege of commissioning and praying off missionaries and Harvest School students and staff.
Our weekly services have grown by leaps and bounds. We have been blessed by being able to have Chris McClarney lead worship along with some of the best worship leaders out there including Luke Finch, Brady Toops, Jessie Parker Early and Michaela McLaird. We have started to webcast our services and they can be watched at www.IrisNashville.com/webcast. Watch live on Sundays at 7pm (cst) or via recording anytime during the week.
We are excited about what Jesus is doing here at Iris Nashville. Keep Allyson and I in your prayers as we are in Columbia for the next week. I will be speaking at a youth conference. We will also be traveling with a group from Iris Nashville to Pemba at the end of the month.
