November News

It was quite a busy month here at Iris Nashville. Our team that we sent to Pemba returned with many stories and testimonies of how God worked! It was a great time of sowing into the staff, students and Mozambicans. After a short week, Pastor Lyle and Allyson made their way to California to be a part of conferences, conventions and services in Los Angeles, Sacramento and Redding. They even Skype'd into a social justice class held at Bethel Church's Supernatural School of Ministry.

Back in Nashville, we had the exciting opportunity to host a guest speaker from a closed nation, our very own Kim Bischoff, and several incredible worship leaders including Chris McClarney, Michaela McLaird and Brady Toops.

Our Kingdom Outreach team partnered with a local church in Franklin, Tennessee for our monthly outreach focused on spreading the love of God to the greater Nashville area. We had the joy of partnering with Iris Andhra Pradesh to help raise funds towards Christmas gifts for the children who are under their care, many of whom have been rescued from child slavery. For many of these children it will be their first Christmas gift ever! Emily Yeatman will be traveling to Andhra Pradesh to deliver the presents and spend time with the children. We also were able to have family members join "Lambscroft", a local homeless ministry, for their Thanksgiving outreach where hundreds of people were served lunch. We prayed over and sent out several missionaries who will be traveling near and far to spread the Good News!

We look forward to what God is going to do here in the greater Nashville area in December!
