Based in another township across town, we have started a cell group with Malawian ladies group. We have been in close contact with them for the last 6 months, through visiting their homes, sitting together in the sun, them visiting us, our friendship has grown. We are able to sometimes employ them to do small jobs to help provide for their families. We have decided to meet on a weekly basis to disciple them followed by a cup of tea while they offer me and Amandine to find us husbands (joking!). They are very eager to be discipled and grow in their faith. By God’s grace we have obtained Chichewa bibles for the bible study. If we are able to find an English teacher we hope to start English lessons for them so they can be able to find work. At the moment the bible study is via a translator.
