Missionaries make missionaries

Written by Carly Brown

When God was calling us to Bolivia one of the main things we kept hearing was that he would raise up Bolivians to be leaders and missionaries and that they would be sent out on mission in Bolivia and all of South America. We were excited for what that would look like and have trusted Him with that. Now after 5 1/2 years here we are so excited to have our first missionaries that the Lord is sending out. The Peñas have been serving with us for over 4 years and we have been living in community for almost 2 years. A few months ago God started calling them to plant a new base in Concepción, Bolivia, a small community about 6 hours to the North of where we live now.

There is not much of a Christian presence in the rural parts of the country and we are excited for them to be led by the Lord to bring His kingdom to the lost. They will be leaving this June for 3 months to train at the Iris Global Harvest School in Brazil. June - August they will attend that school near Fortaleza, Brazil to prepare for planting a base and heading out early 2024. Will you be praying for them with us? We are sad to see them leave us here but we know that God is doing a new thing and we are so expectant for all He has.
If you feel to give toward their trip to Brazil as they step out in faith you can reach out to us or give to our Iris Gran Familia Bolivia base with a note that it is for the Peñas.

God is so faithful we need only to trust Him, His timing and pray that His will be done.
