Living in the Light is Not Optional!!

Written by Boris Peña

About two years ago I was born again. But before that I lived a life of slavery to sin, blinded in my own compulsiveness. I went to a church near my house. I was used to the routine of church services and during the week I lived a normal life until I met a family of missionaries who came to Bolivia bringing with them something different, something that I didn’t see in my local church. It was something new for me and my family. After two years of friendship with them they invited us to leave our whole lives to bring the love of Christ to people, especially to the jail in our city (Santa Cruz), “Palmasola.'' For years I tried to live as a christian carrying the love of Jesus to the jail, the rural towns, and also close to our community, but over time the darkness that was in me completely blinded me. I began to practice sin without fear of God and did not realize that my path was death. At one point I thought about abandoning my wife and children because I had realized that I could not stop sinning until one day my “gringo” friend told me about the gospel and I realized that I had not repented of anything in my life. Nor had I put in the light all my life of sin. In those days I decided to repent and be born again.
In that moment I was free from the slavery of sin.
(1 John 1) LIVING IN THE LIGHT IS NOT AN OPTION ..!
Now I try to live in the light by confessing my sins and repenting. When I do not confess my sins the
darkness wants to come back and take me over to the point of demonic manifestation. Living in the light is not an option. We must walk in the light as God is light so as not to give the evil a chance to come back into our life.

(1 Juan 1) VIVIR EN LA LUZ NO ES UNA OPCIÓN!
