Caroline Thomas is the director of Iris Madagascar and the proud mum of two adopted children, Andry and Esther. Caroline is from Bristol in the U.K. and worked as a midwife before going to the Iris Harvest School, Mozambique in 2008. God used the mission school in a powerful way, calling her to help abandoned babies and children in Madagascar. In the last three years, Caroline has seen Iris Madagascar grow from a handful of youngsters to over 100 children – all of whom know her as their beloved Mama Caroline.

Julio and Patty

Deputy Base Leaders, Administrators, Lunch-Time Program

Julio and Patty are an incredible couple who came to work for us back when Iris Madagascar first started, with blessing from YWAM Madagascar. Julio is the assistant director and Patty is a gifted administrator. They have a lovely daughter who is now two called Nancy.

Jeremy and Caitlin Lantz

Finance Administrator, Outreach and Sponsorship Coordinators

The Lantz family, from the U.S., visited Iris Madagascar for three weeks in 2010 after finishing Harvest School 12. A year later they joined Iris full time and after spending one year training in Mozambique returned long term to Madagascar. Jeremy is the Finance Administrator and Outreach Coordinator. Caitlin is the Sponsorship Coordinator. Additionally, they both help with a lot of discipleship and training. Jeremy and Caitlin have four beautiful children who join them in many ministries activities and also are missionaries in their own right, loving and reaching out to the children and the community.
