Pastor’s Training

Training leaders.
Multiplying disciples.

While many of our ministry programs address tangible needs, the core of Iris is to go and make disciples and an essential component of that call is to raise up leaders. Our pastors training program equips national leaders with a strong Biblical foundation and accountability to cultivate a flourishing local church body. These pastors also plant new churches and disciple new believers while continuing their own training and discipleship. They are an integral piece to our part of seeing Jesus’ Great Commission be fulfilled!

Our two largest programs are in Dondo and Pemba Mozambique. Together, they train on average 240 pastors annually. The schools provide pastors with foundational Biblical teaching and practical tools for leading their churches. The subjects include Biblical foundations, worship, evangelism, baptism, the Holy Spirit, marriage and family, leadership, healing and deliverance, spiritual disciplines, stewardship, church growth, and hermeneutics.

We disciple and equip our national pastors to lead the local churches.

Our courses provide a solid Biblical foundation and accountability for our leaders in order for churches to flourish.
