Our health and wellness programs provide free medical care to the communities we serve. Through these services we have the opportunity to meet people’s physical needs in a tangible way and introduce them to the Great Physician who heals mind, body, and soul.
Our premier program is the Health Center and Zoe Maternity Clinic in Pemba, Mozambique. This medical program provides free medical care to thousands of people a day and also conducts health education and intervention classes to prevent sickness and spread of disease. The Zoe Maternity Clinic was opened in 2018 and has welcomed hundreds of babies. Mothers are also given a high level of pre- and post-natal care ensuring mother & baby have a strong foundation for long-term health. Our clinicians also engage in community education to help reduce the risk of preventable disease and provide training in mitigation interventions to improve the overall long-term health of individuals.
