Singapore: Living Oaks

About Living Oaks

Living Oaks Singapore is an Iris Global base in the heart of Asia, welcoming those who feel called to come, be formed, and be sent. The base serves bilingually in English and Mandarin, equipping missionaries to serve among the poor and unreached across the nations—from vulnerable communities in Africa, to regions affected by conflict, and hidden peoples in places such as Borneo and the Amazon.

The base is led by Rudy & Bao Yan. Rudy is a professional architect and Bao Yan comes from a background of leadership and entrepreneurship. Their marketplace background informs how the base serves, helping teams build long-term presence and practical impact across cultures. Their missions and humanitarian work have been recognised and featured in mainstream media, pointing to transformation taking place in challenging environments.

Living Oaks Singapore raises missionaries through hands-on mission training and ongoing discipleship, forming people in prayer, community life, and presence-based ministry, and equipping them for long-term service among the poor and unreached.

Rooted in Singapore’s calling as an Antioch of Asia, Living Oaks gathers people from many nations, with a special heart for the Mandarin-speaking world—equipping believers to serve the nations.

Grounded in Isaiah 61:3–4, the base exists to raise laid-down lovers of Jesus, sent to bless the nations and see lives and communities restored.
