"Through the love of God, we empower individuals and communities in practical and tangible ways through family, education, development, outreach, entrepreneurship, and restorative care.
We adore Jesus and from the overflow we serve those in need. Iris Addis Ababa is “stopping for the one” in Ethiopia; one person, one family, and one community at a time. As our outreaches and programs grow, we remain focused as a family to love God first and foremost and let everything we do flow from the place of intimacy and adoration to Jesus, while providing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual support in the areas in which we serve.
We operate in Ethiopia as an international NGO recognized by the Ethiopian government.
Get Involved
Get Involved through serving the poor, broken, and destitute amongst the nation of Ethiopia here are some ways we serve:
Street outreach in the slums and in the brothels
Girl Empowerment Program: Rescuing young women being exploited through the commercial sex industry in the slums
Trash Dump Outreach: Sharing Jesus, feeding, and stopping for the one
House of Prayer in the center of Addis Ababa open for all morning, noon, night
Rural Mission Schools: Raising up local missionaries carrying the love and power of the gospel
Serving along-side our church plants in rural Ethiopia and planting churches and Discipleship House Groups all across the region"
