JABULILE PRESCHOOL
Jabulile continues to be a safe and loving place for children from the surrounding villages, many of whom come from homes affected by poverty, unemployment, and difficult circumstances.
This year two of our teachers were able to complete their intensive studies to become Certified Early Childhood Development Educators. We are so proud of their dedication and look forward to welcoming even more children back into the program in the months ahead!
Each day at Jabulile is filled with opportunities for the children to learn, grow, and encounter the love of Jesus. Through circle time, worship, prayer, Bible teaching, storytelling, art activities, outdoor play, and early learning exercises, the children are developing spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically in a nurturing environment.
We are especially encouraged by the growth we have seen in the children this past year. Many are gaining confidence in speaking English, learning to work together, and growing in independence. One of the most beautiful things to witness has been hearing the children begin praying sincere prayers out loud together and spontaneously singing worship songs during playtime.
Because of your support, the preschool has also been able to provide daily nutritious meals and snacks, maintain playground equipment, purchase storybooks and learning materials, repair fencing and plumbing, and improve the classroom environment.
One particularly meaningful testimony this year involved a child who faced significant behavioral struggles and often experienced emotional outbursts. Through prayer, additional staff training, and patient, loving care, we saw incredible transformation over the course of the year. This child has grown calmer, more confident, and more responsive to guidance and encouragement. It has been a beautiful reminder of how consistent love and support can truly change a child’s life.
