Adventure lovers, in 2009 Marcus and Mariana were guided by God to a unexpected vacation trip to Haiti. In this land of huge misery and spiritual oppression they strongly felt embarrassed with the gospel inside the comfort zone that they were living. They came back home vanished and in parallel of their professional activities they started to serve God in a slum that lies on the surroundings of Gramacho’s Garbage Dump, a place in Rio de Janeiro where the population lives below the line of poverty. Along with a group of brothers, they are looking after loving the residents as they love themselves, thereby stretching the Kingdom of God, making disciples and helping taking care of their material and spiritual needs.
