We greet you from a very hot, humid Conakry Guinea.
We have been so blessed, and excited, to see friends come forward to sponsor our children, and to donate towards us being able to feed the street children. We all say a very big and heart felt THANK YOU, and pray God will bless you mightily for your willingness to reach out and help those He cares so much about..
This year has been a very busy one so far.
The teachers have been on strike here in Guinea and as a result our children have not been to school for two months. For those that follow us on our Facebook page you will know that we have been finding sponsors to help put the little children that gather at our compound gate begging for food, through school. Those we found sponsors for were so excited, (and a little apprehensive!) when they first started going to school, but once they started feeling 'at home' they started doing really well. Please pray that both our children and the children we call the Gate children will be able to catch up on the school work they have missed as the school's year end exams are in a few months time.
We have been blessed to have Todd Focht from the US here with us for three months and his endless enthusiasm to do everything from outreach, to playing with our children, to helping to serve hundreds of meals to the widows and street children we feed has been a real help and great joy to us. He will be going home in a few weeks time and we hope he returns to spend more time with us very soon.

The ten children that the local authorities have recently sent to us to look after have just had their photos and details uploaded on the Stop for the One website so that people wishing to sponsor them can do so.
