Love and greetings from Heidi and Rolland and the Harvest School team. We have been following the cloud to many nations since we have been unable to hold Harvest School in Pemba. Harvest School is taking the seeds that we received in Mozambique and scattering them in the nations. We had the great blessing of planting seeds in South Africa, Holland, Israel, Madagascar, Scotland, America and Mexico. We spent time in Harvest School 34 with our Iris Nicaragua base leader and felt the Father calling us to continue to sow in America and also partner with God and what He is doing in Nicaragua. We would love for you to pray about joining us on this journey.
Because of the uniqueness of this school, Harvest School Alumni are invited to apply.
God is calling His sons and daughters to GO into ALL the earth, that His house may be full! Iris Harvest School of Missions is preparation for the harvesting of the nations. We invite you to come and be trained in the field of the United States and Nicaragua.
There is a new breed of missionaries being released across the earth, transparent saints with hearts beating in rhythm with their Bridegroom King Jesus, carrying His glory across the earth. Fearless, laid-down lovers who know a love that has no boundaries and are ready to run into the darkest places of the earth—lavishing love on the lost, the dying, the poor and the broken. Jesus came with a constant love for both the one and the masses. Now we must do the same: stop for the one, but believe for the multitudes.
Iris Greeneville is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains where the Second Great Awakening swept through. A new awakening has come with its roots among some of the poorest and most broken members of our society—children who are in the custody of the state of Tennessee, unable to live in their natural home. Iris Greeneville partners with Holston United Methodist Home for Children and has seen the power of the Gospel transform the lives of the most unwanted and abandoned.
A small town with a big history... a history of freedom. It has been the home of Andrew Johnson (U.S President that freed slaves in TN) and influential pioneer abolitionist writers such as Benjamin Lundy. Greene County is surrounded by breathtaking views, but it is also filled with drugs and domestic violence.
Since its founding in 1895 when Mrs. E.E. Wiley, a widow, took in her first homeless child, Holston Home has assisted more than 8,000 children. The home is situated on 155 acres of gently rolling hillside in Greeneville. Their goal is always to do what is best for the children, whether it’s reuniting with family, adoption, or successfully transitioning to adulthood. They provide hope and healing for a brighter future by sharing the love of Jesus with children and families.
Nicaragua is ready for revival! It is the second poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere and has suffered from a recent revolution where God moved in the most profound ways. Amidst heavy religion, we are seeing the God of freedom breaking forth and bringing His transforming truth and love to a nation that is ripe for the harvest. Kara Westermann is the founder of Iris Beauty For Ashes in Nicaragua. In 2013, she moved to Nicaragua with her two suitcases and $300. She invites you to join her and her team as they lay down their lives for the glory of King Jesus in Nicaragua.
Come and discover the Father’s heart as you minister to His beloved Nicaraguan bride. While you are in Nicaragua you will receive hands-on training to heal the sick, share the simple gospel, learn how to make disciples, and discover what family looks like in discipleship.
You will spend time with families living in trash dump communities and children living on the streets in the mountains of Nicaragua. You will also get an opportunity to encourage the local body of Christ and serve in practical ministry outreaches. You will be encountered by His presence in the midst of the smoke-filled trash heaps, under the mango trees, as you play with the children, and pour out his love on the beautiful Nicaraguan people.
In Nicaragua, you will:
We understand that some of your borders are currently closed, but the Lord has continued to make a way for international students to attend Harvest School as we are a humanitarian organization. If you desire to come to Harvest School 35, we invite you to contact JulieCarty@irisglobal.org. If borders do not open, you will have the option to transfer your application to HS36.
We know that God is sovereignly guiding our steps as we are spending much time in prayer. We are trusting Him with all of the details and know it will be an amazing adventure with our King!
