Love and greetings from Heidi and Rolland and the Harvest School team. We have been following the cloud to many nations since we have been unable to hold Harvest School in Pemba. In Scotland we had a powerful word that Harvest School is taking the seeds that we received in Mozambique and scattering them in the nations. We had the great blessing of planting seeds in South Africa, Holland, Israel, Scotland and now America. We have been praying, dreaming, planning, and seeking the Father's deepest desires for Harvest School 33. As we sought our precious Father, we felt Him calling us to continue to sow part of this season in Greeneville, Tennessee, where HS32 is being held, and to step into the new and stretch our tent stakes to the mountain villages of Mexico. We would love for you to pray about joining us on this journey.

Because of the uniqueness of this school, Harvest School Alumni are invited to apply.

A New Breed of Missionaries

God is calling His sons and daughters to GO into ALL the earth, that His house may be full! Iris Harvest School of Missions is preparation for the harvesting of the nations. We invite you to come and be trained in the field of the United States and Mexico.

There is a new breed of missionaries being released across the earth, transparent saints with hearts beating in rhythm with their Bridegroom King Jesus, carrying His glory across the earth. Fearless, laid-down lovers who know a love that has no boundaries and are ready to run into the darkest places of the earth—lavishing love on the lost, the dying, the poor and the broken. Jesus came with a constant love for both the one and the masses. Now we must do the same: stop for the one, but believe for the multitudes.

Iris Greeneville Pioneers

Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, in the small town of Greeneville, is one of those unlikely places where God is moving. The Second Great Awakening swept through these mountains setting captives free and we believe that that is what God is doing again. A new awakening has come with its roots among some of the poorest and most broken members of our society—children who are in the custody of the state of Tennessee because they are currently unable to live in their natural home. Iris Greeneville partners with Holston United Methodist Home for Children and has seen the power of the Gospel transform the lives of the most unwanted and abandoned.

The Iris Greeneville Team

In Greeneville, you will participate in many activities, including the following:

  • Encounter Jesus in such a deep way it changes your life forever.

  • Gain an understanding of how to minister cross-culturally.
  • Minister to the broken, orphaned, and abandoned in a first-world setting.
  • Bring Jesus to children who have been removed from their families, coming from backgrounds of poverty, drug addiction, sexual abuse, and neglect.
  • Learn how to bring the heartbeat of God through Iris Global into an existing ministry in your town.
  • Outreaches in the Appalachian mountains.
  • Participate in an overnight worship/camping trip to the Smoky Mountains.
  • Kayaking, canoeing, biking, horseback riding, painting, rope courses, volleyball, basketball.

Greeneville, TN

A small town with a big history... a history of freedom. It has been the home of Andrew Johnson (U.S President that freed slaves in TN) and influential pioneer abolitionist writers such as Benjamin Lundy. Greene County is surrounded by breathtaking views, but it is also filled with drugs and domestic violence.

Holston Home for Children

Since its founding in 1895 when Mrs. E.E. Wiley, a widow, took in her first homeless child, Holston Home has assisted more than 8,000 children. The home is situated on 155 acres of gently rolling hillside in Greeneville. Their goal is always to do what is best for the children, whether it’s reuniting with family, adoption, or successfully transitioning to adulthood. They provide hope and healing for a brighter future by sharing the love of Jesus with children and families.

This is a unique opportunity to join in the work begun in this rugged region by radical missionaries in 1981. Starting off with nothing but a word from God and a vision of the area, they began preaching from village to village. From this beginning until now there have been over six hundred churches pioneered and countless villages have heard the Gospel. The mountainous region where many of their churches exist is a harsh area with few roads and many villages having only recently received electric power.

The primary focus of this ministry remains simple - to go into villages and regions where there is no established work of the Gospel, to seek souls, healings, and deliverances for the kingdom of God. Their vision is to establish churches, train leaders and enable national pastors to spread the Gospel. To begin churches is only the start...The work currently is reaching out to the many thousands of villages that have not been reached. To care and safeguard the established churches and continue to press outward is the continuing vision.

There have been miraculous healings of every nature. There are testimonies of every body part having been healed or created after fasting, prayer, and the laying on of hands. There have been over four hundred people that have been raised from the dead by the power of God. God responded with mercy and life at the request of their leaders, pastors, missionaries, housewives, and many other Christians throughout the work who prayed.

You will be starting at the mission base being trained by local and international leaders and experiencing life as they live it on the mission field. Then you will have the great privilege to live in the villages with the local people and experience life as they do. You will return to the mission base for our graduation ceremonies.

This will provide a close look at what their life looks like, who their families are and what they do to advance God’s kingdom. You may take part in Bible school settings, help build churches, visit hospitals, visit prisons, plant churches, pray for the sick, and reach out in the communities where we have had churches established for many years. Some of these things we hope to do but may be limited pending the then-current rules of the pandemic. We are excited and look forward to meeting you! Jesus is King!

Internationals, we understand that many of your borders are closed at the moment and it may not be easy to make a definite decision. If you desire to come to Harvest School 33, we invite you to apply. If borders do not open, you will have the opportunity to transfer your application to HS34.

We know that God is sovereignly guiding our steps as we are spending much time in prayer. We are trusting Him with all of the details and know it will be an amazing adventure with our King!

You are invited to come!

“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”
Numbers 6:24-26 NKJV

With much love in Jesus,
