The Faithfulness of Jesus

We have seen God move in huge ways in 2020 and we find ourselves on our knees in gratitude for all He has done and continues to do. Many things changed unexpectedly in 2020 but through it all Jesus never changes and He never stops pursuing us and fighting for us. This year we have seen more people come into the Kingdom and be baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit than ever before!

Since Nicaragua was hit by two hurricanes back to back, our team has been traveling far away to help the hurricane victims and we will continue these efforts into 2021. This incredible update was written by one of our team leaders and is worth the read!

(Translated from Spanish into English)

“Yesterday we arrived at one of the hurricane shelters, there were many people. We prayed for between 20 to 25 people for healing, it was wild, they are all being healed and crying. At one point the people left and they called us quickly saying that there was an emergency. We ran to a mother who had her 11-year-old daughter in her arms. She was losing consciousness and without color in her skin. She had not eaten in two days or been able to stand. We prayed and we said demon get away from her. She breathed deeply and a tear came out of her eye and she was free. She got up and ate and we told her that she was loved by God. There was a lot of people renouncing witchcraft and getting healed. It was wild! It was difficult to present the gospel because we only had one translator and the translator was being touched by the Holy Spirit hahaha The translator had never seen so much healing by prayer and now he is open to receive the gospel too. Today Donald and I are going to present the gospel to the translator because he is open to receive after seeing many miracles. There was so much healing!!

People were waiting for us because they think we have something special. They say oh they are the missionaries who heal. We are nothing special, we just have the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead that we can all have if we wish!”

Even with all the struggles of homeschooling all of our 38 kiddos (and trust me, there were plenty of struggles ??) we can proudly say that 100% of our kids are still in school and have made it through COVID homeschooling! We had 5 graduate from the 6th grade this month and we will have 2 more graduate high school in May ? From all of us in Nicaragua we want to say thank you to all of you who make this possible financially and all who pray for us and support us. We have seen so many incredible miracles happen this year, including the opening of our new missions base in the mountains of Nicaragua. I pray each of you is encouraged in your faith by the testimonies of God’s love, power and goodness flowing out of Nicaragua. He is faithful and worthy of it all! If any of you want prayer or want to make the decision to live for Christ as His disciple, please do not hesitate to reach out. I would love to connect with you. Merry Christmas and may Jesus be glorified in all things in this season and every season. We love you guys!
