These three boys--young men, now--grew up together in the Mieze Children's Center, known as "The Village of Love." They then moved to our Noviane Center to attend the Iris Christian secondary school at the adjacent Pemba Base. In February, 2019 all three began university programs in Nampula. Baptista (center) is studying for a degree in mechanical engineering at Polytécnica University. Nando (left) and Ferão are at the Pedagogical University studying to become secondary school teachers of English.
