A love gift of a home and shelter for a blind Woman who had been living out in the open

About six weeks ago we met a blind woman who was homeless, living out in the open in Mahajanga, Madagascar. We immediately felt such a surge of God's love rise up in our hearts for this woman.

A wonderfully kind local Malagasy lady had a small piece of ground 4 meters x 3.6 meters that she wanted to give and so we worked with this local lady and built a beautiful corrugated iron home for the beautiful blind Mama.

For many around the world, this house would be considered nothing more than a garden shed, but for thisblind woman it is a palace. As we gave her the keys to her own home this week, tears ran down her face as she raised her hands and praised Jesus for His goodness.

We had a little wooded plaque carved for her house and the Mama insisted that it was placed in a prominent place in her house, so that everyone can read the words - 'Tsara Jesosy - Jesus is good'

It is wonderful to give extravagant gifts of Gods love to those who can never give back and we are so grateful to God that this Mama will be safe and dry as she sleeps in her own house every night.
