If you don't give up you win!

2020 was an unusual year and like all beginning of pioneering work, we had many challenges and great joy on the journey. We've been in Portugal for 2 years and still adapting to a different new country, having our resident visa ready, and connecting with people. Our little baby Christofer came during the pandemic and became part of ours ministry. During the pregnancy, we received a phone call from Andrew Fanstone, leader of the Iris Bases in Brazil, about a vision he had received from God about starting an online short Mission School during the lockdown. To involve our Portuguese friends seemed like a great opportunity, even if it meant a change in our routine. It was the beginning of coronavirus and, like everyone else, we believed it will be only a few months. At the same time, God asked us to leave our home and be ready to go to the place that He prepares for us. All at once. There were several words that the birth of Christofer also meant a spiritual birth of something that God was generating in us, and this is how it happened. As a result of our online School, in partnership with Iris Brasil, today we have 11 volunteers who have served with us in our Community. God brought us to this place just 7 months ago, but it seems like we’ve been here for a long time. So many incredible things have already happened! So many testimonies! We are grateful for this place and all the possibilities and dreams that God has given us. We know this is just the beginning!
