Fellowship

About a year ago we met Pedro (not his real name) in a community house/bar. He opened his heart and, with great interest, began to read the Bible. The desire to know more about God and to understand His word was so intense that it was necessary to start an individual discipleship to answer his many questions. It was at one of these moments that he asked us if he could be baptized, although we had never discussed the subject.
The change in his heart, attitudes and even in the countenance has been evident! Recently, we responded to the insistent invitation to start meeting at his house, taking advantage of the larger backyard to have time open to the entire community.

Many times this dear brother has surprised us with a clear understanding of the Word, despite the little knowledge he still has. Last Saturday, he thanked God because through the friendship, care and unity he saw among the team members, he was able to better understand what Jesus was like and what it was like to live with Him. Without even knowing it, he paraphrased Jesus...
"(...) love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples: if you love one another." (John 13:34,35)

How precious is the fellowship of those who have been washed by the blood of Jesus!
