Walking in faith

Written by Sia Tongu

Greetings my friends,

Thank you so much for your love and prayers. We really appreciate them and as we are facing a serious challenge right now we ask that you continue to pray for this ministry and the children that God has put in our care.

In the last year, social welfare has placed another 13 children in our care, and as I do not have enough space to keep them in our current rented house, they are scattered among the church members, to be looked after on a temporary basis, until we have a new home where they can come and live together with me and our other 13 children.

If you have been following our most recent story you will know that we are praying for a larger house so that we can house our children in a safe, permanent environment. God has laid it on our hearts to buy a piece of land that allow us to build several homes for children on, but also with enough space to build a hall where we can hold church, have prayer meetings, do various education and health related seminars for local people, and run a crèche for young children during weekdays.

Additionally we would like to use the land to grow our own vegetables and keep livestock on, and use this facility to train others so that they can grow vegetables and raise livestock on their own land to feed their families and themselves.

We have found suitable land and had the quotes in to build the facilities we need, but as yet God has not provided the finances required for us to go ahead with this project.

The need to find or build a larger facility to house our children has now become urgent as our landlord has given us three months to vacate our current small house, and we have nowhere to go.

Our need is great, and a solution to our problem is urgently required, so please keep us in your prayers and we will keep you updated on our progress.

We pray that God will bless you abundantly and grant you the desires of your heart

Sia
