Exciting times here at Zimpeto as we start to lay the foundations of our new church building. It’s a step of faith, believing in God that He will provide to raise the walls, put on the roof and furnish the whole building. That’s how faith works. We take step one in faith and trust God to provide the rest. We have enjoyed so much having phase one of this building over the last couple of years. Our prayer room is a place like no other on the base. On Tuesday and Friday mornings it’s full to capacity with school kids pouring out their hearts to Jesus. At other times it is a place of praise and worship and at others a place of quiet where we can soak and be still to hear the voice of God. On Thursday mornings the buzz of many mamas praying out loud at the same time can be heard. What greater way to start our church building than to have a place of communion with God, open to all. So as we lay these new foundations for the church we trust that this too will be a throne room for God, a place of encounters and restoration of His children. Join with us in praying that the church will be built here in Mozambique, the people of God being built even more than the building.
