This is part 1 of a 3 part series written by a Harvest School student

The following testimonies are written by a Harvest School student that spent ten days working with Sia Tongu, the base director at Iris Global in Guinea, along with some of the leaders from the churches there. The student was a social worker from a suburb near to Paris. Years ago she was an atheist, and worked as a humanitarian in Senegal, and felt desperate. She felt totally helpless in the face of the suffering of children on the street and sickness the children faced. One day she cried out to God for heal them and then Jesus revealed Himself to her and called her to serve Him. She became a committed Christian seven years ago and since then she has started to work in France on the streets with the homeless and in programs for the protection of abused children. She also works with the church doing evangelism programs for children. After receiving several prophecies that God would be using her in missions, She decided to attend the Iris Harvest School in Pemba Mozambique to prepare herself. She share that she experienced God's love in such a remarkable way during the school that it has changed her radically. During her stay in Guinea, God showed her that, through her and His children, He could heal the sick, bring joy to the downtrodden, hope to the hurting, and salvation to those that are lost. As Helen has told us 'I have no words to describe how wonderful God is.' We hope you enjoy these testimonies of her time in Guinea and the miracles she experienced there.

I would like to share with you the ten incredible days that I lived in Guinea Conakry in August 2017.

After two months in Mozambique attending the Iris Global Harvest School, I arrived in Guinea on Sunday, August the 6th at Conakry Airport where the pastor, called "Mama Sia", and two sisters came to welcome me. It was during the rainy season, we were driving to the base with an abundant rain. I know it was a rain of blessings waiting for me here...

Arriving at the base, I was greeted with a nice word on my bed and a song to welcome me in the family. We praised the Lord all together !

Early the next morning, I heard people singing and I joined them in the living room. Everyone gathered thanking God for this new day. Every morning and evening the entire house would meet in praise and prayer ... The presence of God was palpable and the joy of God flooded in this house.

Monday morning was my first outing, we went to the local market called "Anta" to do some grocery shopping for lunch. Then I got to know the girls by letting them braid my hair. In the afternoon, I visited the market of Matoto and we visited the city.

Then I participated to the French lessons for the children and helped Djibril the teacher.

Outreaches

On Tuesday, we went to Sanoyah, the village where the church is located. After a long moment of prayer and praise, we formed two groups. I left with a sister of the village (Aisha) a brother (Moise) and Pastor Najimo to meet the villagers and share the Gospel. When we arrived at the first house, we were received by the father of the family, Michel. This gentleman is Catholic, he is a policeman and has several wives.

After the introductions, we shared the Gospel. The gentleman told us directly that he wanted us to pray for his legs because he had a very bad pain in his legs and feet. So we prayed for him and immediately after we placed our hands on him, the gentleman said that he felt like ice crossed his body and the pain left him. Hallelujah! We were very happy, so I asked the gentleman if he wanted to receive the Holy Spirit, Michel answered yes and we prayed for it, he
was very touched by God. This was our first visit.

A Catholic woman asked the church to come to pray for her mother, who was very sick. We went to meet them. The lady is the oldest and her daughter told us that for months she had been laying in bed suffering atrociously. Doctors diagnosed her with an uterus cancer. Then, the pastor looked at me and said: "You are the one who is going to lead the prayer". And so I asked that everybody pray in tongues. The presence of God invaded the room,
Pastor Najimo and I layed our hands on her and prayed with ardor. The lady looked in my eyes and shook my hands with great hope. I felt that with each breath, the life of God filled her.

After a moment of intense prayer, we asked her daughter to translate for us and ask how her mother was feeling. She said her mother felt much better. Then, to our surprise, she got up by herself and went to the doorway of her house. Indeed, she wanted to see how outside looked like because it had been months since she had been able to go out. Her daughter explained to us that before her healing, two people had to assist her so she can walk and that she could not even sit without feeling pain. The next day, we went back to see her and she looked very good, her daughter explained that for the first time in a long time she slept very well and did not wake anyone, she was well and could move by herself.

Glory be to Jesus who heals!

During the third visit, we met a desperate man paralyzed for 5 years without any medical reason. He was a former policeman. As we prayed for him we felt a strong spiritual warfare and several people saw a scorpion come out of his foot. After a long moment of intense prayer, the man stood up for the first time in several years and took his first steps. The next day, we went back to see him and walked further into the house. The man explained that
before prayer he felt like he had chains around him but that since prayer he felt liberated.

Some time later, we met a man who had undergone surgery on his leg. As we prayed for his recovery, I received in my heart that he needed repentance, I gave him a few words of encouragement to come back to the Lord and make a new covenant with God. I led him and he did it. I learned later that God had already healed him but that he had left the church. God is a jealous God, but slow to anger and rich in goodness.
