Harvest School Student's Testimony-Part 3

Written by Lover of Jesus

On Tuesday we went to a new village, and we met a teenager and then his father joined us. He explained that in 1985 he had an accident and his back was bent since then and he could not get up without feeling pain, nor walk normally. We preached the Gospel and then prayed for him. The father of the family received deliverance, he perspired from his whole body for long minutes and he was breathing very hard. As we continued to pray he had less and less pain, until he felt free. He could then stand without using his arms to hold himself up, and had almost no pain.

His son, Abdoulaye, has a crippled leg. We prayed for him but his leg did not straighten out. Yet Abdoulaye told us that he wanted to know God so I gave him my Bible and he was very happy.

We went to meet a sister who was going backwards with the Lord and so we encouraged her to come back to the Lord and go to church.

We then met a woman, who was ready to do her ablutions, but stopped to listen to us. We took two minutes to talk to her about Jesus then the woman told us that she does not live here but in Sierra Leone. She also told us the resident of the house was not at home, but that she would give the message about Jesus to her whole family so that they may be blessed and she says : "Maybe God will touch some to change them". We were very surprised. So we explained to her the difference between religion and the Kingdom of God, and she decided to accept Jesus ! As we led her into the prayer of repentance, the little girl who was beside her and heard everything, prayed at the same time to accept the Lord. It was wonderful !

Our brothers and sisters from the other group went to preach to traditional doctors and wizards, they were numerous, they quarreled among themselves because some were other religions and did not want the group to preach the Gospel. Then the group of wizards was absent, then they said, "Do not downplay with the Christians because they are at the head". There were many and some asked them to come back and preach the Gospel again.

In the afternoon, Mama Sia decided to take me to visit the city center with Gabriel and Emmanuel Arriving in the city center, the Holy Spirit led us again ... She sees a lady whom she has known for a long time and who is Christian. Unable to drive any further in the heavy rain, we stopped at her house. The Lord had words for her that we released. Our sister was very encouraged. It's so great to be guided by the Holy Spirit every day. Then Mama Sia invited us to a restaurant! It was a wonderful family evening.

On Wednesday was for me a day of rest in His presence with the whole family.

On Thursday we went to the market in Madina, one of the largest markets in Guinea, we also prepared a meal for my departure: Spaguettis Bolognese!

To say goodbye was difficult and moving. I cannot explain in words how grateful I am to Mother Sia, who is a devoted woman and who showed me in a few days what the life of sacrifice is for Jesus. I will never forget the love of Christ manifested through every child and youth in her home.

To my new family in Guinea : I love you with all my heart and I believe you will soon see me again by the grace of God.
