God Makes it Grow

Hello Iris Global Nepal Family:
We are so filled with joy in this season of growth and fruitfulness! Growth is painful and stretching sometimes but always glorious! We are experiencing growth in almost every area of ministry that God has called us to. We are now up to 17 foreign missionaries and over 25 Nepali co-workers.

IRIS GLOBAL NEPAL CHILDREN'S HOME
The children are in a season of growth physically as well as spiritually. They are growing in using their God-given gifts and talents as well as in their freedom and boldness in worship. We had a kid’s night of worship this week and it was glorious! We truly experienced a God ordained time of spontaneous worship! It was amazing to see the kids step into a new level of freedom. They effectively and joyfully lead worship, share the message, interpret, serve the poor, preach the gospel, heal the sick, love their neighbors, and love God with everything that they are. For videos and pictures, you can check out our Iris Global Nepal Facebook page.

We just had our semi-annual camp out at our school and a fun time was had by our whole Iris Global Nepal family which is now more than 60 people! We flew kites, played soccer, basketball, table tennis and volleyball, jumped on the trampoline, road bikes, worshipped Jesus, and ate delicious food together. Please pray for the kids that they would continue in this season of growth and maximize what Holy Spirit is doing in each of their lives!

IRIS GLOBAL NEPAL BANQUET HOUSE
The Banquet House is expanding to include the Potter’s House where the homeless can receive training and creative relief through ceramic pottery. This coming week, we are also starting a drug/alcohol rehabilitation program called the Freedom House where will start with 5 men currently caught in the bondage of addiction and love them into freedom with the love of Jesus. They will have times of training in the Bible, English language, pottery, personal health, and hygiene. They will have daily times of physical training and sport. They will have daily times of prayer and intimate times with God. They will serve at the Banquet House and do outreach on the streets of Kathmandu. They will serve the surrounding community and visit prisoners in the jail next door. Please pray for this new ministry that lasting fruit will be realized and these men will be fully set free from addiction and truly reconciled to God and their families! Stay updated with pictures and videos on our Facebook page.

Last Saturday, it was our great privilege to be able to baptize 11 believers at our beautiful baptismal at our friends’ Hope Bioponics Nepal! It always fills us with joy to see people make a public declaration of dying to their old selves and embracing an new life in Jesus!

VILLAGE OUTREACHES
An Iris Harvest School of Missions team visited recently and had crazy, Holy Spirit encounters on village outreach. During a time of prayer, God gave them they exact location of a village near one of our Iris partner churches in the south of Nepal. On arrival, they found out that the pastor had been praying specifically for that village and wanting to do an outreach there. He was overjoyed when he found out that God had put that place on our hearts, too! Many were physically healed and gave their lives to Jesus. The female witch doctor in the village was the first to get physically healed by Jesus, forsake all other idols, and give her life to him! Jesus is so good and He so wants His creation to be reconciled back to the Father!

NAYA PRAKASH VIDHYALAYA(SCHOOL)
Our school is also experiencing growth. We are now up to over 120 students enrolled from Nursery to Class 7. The new principal is amazing and is doing an excellent job stewarding the increase that God is bringing.

In closing, the new worship song by Hillsong United called “So Will I (100 Billion X)” has been completely wrecking us. If you want a deeper revelation of the worthiness of God, have a listen….”…if You gave Your life to love them, so will I.”

We love you all dearly.

Love, love, love!
