Tammy and Joel spent 10 years in a nation in the Middle East before moving to Nepal. In that nation, God used them to minister to both local Arabs and the poor expatriate laborers who live and work there. God moved mightily there, especially in the labor camps among Nepali workers, through miraculous healings and deliverances. Many responded to His kindness, surrendered and were baptized through local underground churches. In September of 2008, Joel was detained, deported by the government and blacklisted for life. God has given Joel and Tammy His heart for the poor, the lost, the abandoned, and the broken and a passion to see the biggest awakening in the history of the church come to Nepal. They have four children: Gabrielle, Jordan, Grace, and Joy.
