Overview
Iris Nepal’s vision is to care for orphans and widows, love the poor on the streets of Kathmandu, and go to remote unreached villages in the power and love of Jesus and see people get radically saved. Discipleship is through offering vocational training to those who have the ability to work as well as a Freedom House, where addicts can get healing and restoration. We have seen so many homeless healed and touched by God on the street and we love having a location where we can further pray for and disciple them.

The Iris Children’s Home is open to any child that God puts in our path who is orphaned or abandoned and is in need of a home. Also in accordance with James 1:27, widows, whom God has led us to, will help in raising the children and live in the home also. We rent a home in a small village outside of Kathmandu and our prayer is to build a base where we will have the ability to love and serve more children and widows.

We believe God’s strategy for the unreached villages is to simply love them in the name of Jesus. Love them by praying for their sick. Love them by providing needs that God, through us, can meet. Love them by teaching them about, and introducing them to, Jesus. Love them by revealing that they are lost sons and daughters of the King of Kings. And love them by sharing the good news of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus. Also, we feel called to train up leaders and pastors to know the love of Christ and the power that is at work within them so they are equipped to minister in their village.iris_nepal_base__base-large.jpg
