Corrie Ockhuysen
Director
Originally from Holland, Corrie has dedicated most of her life to missions and working with children suffering from HIV. She has spent time living in various places, including Brazil and Mozambique. Here at the centre she is the cog that keeps the clock running, a one woman administration team that can resolve any issue. Organizing everything from finance to school snacks and prayer times, Corrie is known and loved by every child here.
João Macamo
Manager
João Macamo was born here in Maputo and has a real heart for the children. He’s impossible to anger and successful in everything he turns his hand to, from driving and all around maintenance to caring for and entertaining the children. His talents are as endless as his love and patience. We love you João Macamo!

Our educators are all from the local area, they love and care for our children around the clock, each one of them is a valued member of our team, their names are… Enia Malope, Marcia Domingos, Albertina Fernando, Audieta Maculule,Eugenia António, Christina Zandalope, Cristina Francisco, Salima Machava, Adelto Viegas, Augusto Samuel, Paulo Manjate, Liria , duardo, Albertina Magaia, Carmina Machava and Manuel Sitõe. Guards: Again from the local area, they work at night to ensure the safety of everyone on the base, they are a real asset: Antonio Colacio and Jose V.Sitõe.
